Pixar - One Man Band (2005)

In this animated short film, we see Bass, a street performer playing a routine tune on a deserted Italian village square one fine afternoon, waiting for a pedestrian to tip him in his rusty iron cup. Soon, he spots Tippy, a humble peasant girl clutching a big gold coin, with the intention of dropping it in the piazza fountain to make a wish. Bass, seizing the opportunity, immediately plays an impromptu track, capturing the young girl's attention. Just when Tippy is about to drop the coin into Bass's cup, a newcomer steps onto the scene. Treble, a suave and flamboyant street performer, plays a more attractive sound, effectively stealing Tippy's attention, much to the anger of Bass. Not to be outdone, Bass ups his ante, with Treble daring to take it even further. As the two rivals unleash their arsenal of musical weapons, trying to vie for the attention (or rather, the tip) of Tippy, the girl cowers in their wild musical cacophony, and in the process, drops her sole gold coin, which falls down a drain and gets lost in the sewers of the village.

King Leonidas and a force of 300 men fight the Persians at Thermopylae in 480 B.C.
In the Battle of Thermopylae of 480 BC an alliance of Greek city-states fought the invading Persian army in the mountain pass of Thermopylae. Vastly outnumbered, the Greeks held back the enemy in one of the most famous last stands of history. Persian King Xerxes lead a Army of well over 100,000 (Persian king Xerxes before war has about 170,000 army) men to Greece and was confronted by 300 Spartans, 700 Thespians and other Slave soldiers. Xerxes waited for 10 days for King Leonidas to surrender or withdraw left with no options he moved. The battle lasted for about 3 days and after which all 300 Spartans were killed. The Spartan defeat was not the one expected, as a local shepherd, named Ephialtes, defected to the Persians and informed Xerxes of a separate path through Thermopylae, which the Persians could use to outflank the Greeks.

High School Musical 2 is the second film in the High School Musical series. The World Premiere took place on August 17, 2007[3] at Disneyland, in Anaheim, California. The primary cast, including Zac Efron, Corbin Bleu, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale, attended the event. The film debuted on television on August 17, 2007, on Disney Channel in the U.S., and on Family in Canada.
The school year ends with everyone at East High School looking forward to summer vacation ( What Time Is It ). Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) is still dating Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens), who decides to stay in Albuquerque with her mother. Troy eventually decides to look for a summer job to gain money for college.
Sharpay and Ryan Evans (Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Grabeel) plan to spend part of the summer at their family s country club, Lava Springs ( Fabulous ), But Sharpay s summer plans also include pursuing Troy, whom she has arranged to be hired at the club. However, Troy convinces the club s manager, Mr. Fulton (Mark L. Taylor), into hiring Gabriella and their close group of friends as well; this includes Gabriella s best friend, Taylor (Monique Coleman), and Troy s best friend, Chad (Corbin Bleu). Sharpay is enraged upon learning that Gabriella is working as one of the lifeguards. Mr. Fulton is unable to fire them upon Sharpay s command, since the club s board members including her mother (Jessica Tuck) approved of their hiring, so she orders Fulton to give them difficult tasks so they would be best to quit. Fulton attempts to intimidate the group by warning them of tight restrictions on the job, but Troy rebuilds their confidence and convinces them that they can persevere ( Work This Out ).
Troy continues to worry about funding for college. Sharpay senses his need and arranges for Troy to be promoted, hoping that this will convince him to sing with her at the talent show. Meanwhile, Kelsi writes a ballad for Troy and Gabriella. Troy agrees to sing with his friends in the show ( You Are The Music In Me ), not knowing that Sharpay is vying for his attention. In the extended version, Sharpay and Ryan trap Troy as he prepares for a date with Gabriella, and perform their potential show stopper ( Humuhumunukunukuapua a ).
